1. Scope of work
Each project must have an agreed scope covering pages, features, integrations, content responsibilities, timelines, pricing, and deliverables. Work outside that scope may require a revised quote.
2. Pricing and taxes
Published prices are starting prices and are not fixed quotes. Final pricing depends on project scope, content readiness, design depth, integrations, hosting needs, and maintenance requirements. Applicable taxes, third-party costs, domains, hosting, plugins, subscriptions, and advertising spend are billed separately unless explicitly included.
3. Payment terms
- A project may require an advance payment before work begins.
- Final files, launch, or domain connection may be withheld until agreed payments are received.
- Delayed payments may delay delivery timelines.
- Maintenance plans are billed monthly or as agreed in writing.
4. Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate business information, approvals, brand assets, legal permissions, images, domain access, hosting access, and timely feedback. Delays in client inputs may shift timelines.
5. Content and legal accuracy
The client is responsible for verifying claims, medical/educational/professional statements, pricing, qualifications, regulatory requirements, and legal compliance before publication. SortedQueue may help structure content but does not certify legal or regulatory accuracy.
6. Revisions
Unless otherwise agreed, website projects include up to two reasonable revision rounds before launch. Major redesigns, new pages, new features, or changes after approval may be treated as additional work.
7. Timelines
Delivery timelines are estimates based on agreed scope and timely client feedback. Timelines may change due to delayed content, approvals, third-party services, technical dependencies, or scope changes.
8. Third-party services
Domains, hosting providers, email services, analytics tools, payment gateways, booking tools, plugins, and other third-party services are governed by their own terms. SortedQueue is not responsible for outages, policy changes, pricing changes, or failures caused by third-party platforms.
9. Ownership and portfolio use
After full payment, the client owns the final website content and custom deliverables created specifically for the client, excluding pre-existing tools, reusable code, templates, workflows, and know-how. SortedQueue may display completed work in its portfolio unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.
10. Maintenance and support
Post-launch maintenance is not included unless agreed separately. Care plans cover small updates and basic support within defined limits. Emergency fixes, major redesigns, new features, SEO campaigns, paid ads, and custom integrations may require separate quotes.
11. No guaranteed results
SortedQueue may improve website quality, clarity, speed, discoverability foundations, and enquiry flow, but does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, admissions, appointments, or business outcomes.
12. Cancellation
If a project is cancelled after work begins, completed work and time spent may be billed. Advance payments may be non-refundable depending on completed work, reserved time, and third-party expenses.
